Kitchen progress

As with all remodels, progress has been slow on the kitchen.  Those corbels are so ugly.  I have never liked them since they were installed.  I can thank the cabinet guy for picking those ugly things out!

The countertops are off and we added beadboard to the back of the island.  I'm still debating about whether to paint island white again or paint it a different color.  The granite will be installed this morning.  I'm so anxious to see it!

Out with the old and in with the new.  The white appliances will be gone and all new stainless will replace them. 

The house is such a mess and I don't function well when my house is a mess.  I feel like my whole life is a mess! 

The cabinets should be painted next week and a tile backsplash will be added.  The new hardwood floors!  It can't be finished quickly enough!  I never thought I'd say this...I miss my kitchen!
