The weather here has been quite chilly too. We had some beautiful days before we left for Disney and that was enough to spoil us!
Doug and I had our "procedures" done at the dermatologist yesterday. He has another scab on his nose, side of his face and check and I have six stitches in my back. We were both dreading the procedures but they really weren't that bad. Hoping for good results.
Okay, now Disney!
Ben, Cameron, Harrison and I left for Disney on Sunday, the 11th. Doug was already in Bradenton, FL racing with D.W. so he was to join us later that day. We stopped at the Florida Welcome Center, of course, to get our OJ and grapefruit juice.
Then back in the car. They were getting excited the closer we got to Disney. Harrison is holding some beef jerky in front of his mouth. I don't know why...why do boys do anything they do??
We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort on Disney property. It is a huge property! They text me our room number that afternoon so we were able to go directly to our room, no check in, and use our magic bands to get into the room.
One of the pools was very close to our room.
We all stayed in one room.
But the cabinet above the green bench pulled down and there was another twin bed there. That was Harrison's bed.
After unloading our stuff, we took the Disney bus transportation to Disney Springs for dinner.
We ate at the T-Rex restaurant.
There was a lot going on in that restaurant but the food was good and the boys loved it.
We walked around Disney Springs. It is an interesting place with lots of upscale shops and restaurants. Something for everybody and it's free to enter. You don't have to have a Disney pass.
We boarded the bus and headed back to the hotel. We were all tired from a very long day.
Doug arrived shortly after we returned from Disney Springs.
We were ready for our first day at Magic Kingdom the next day!
Looking forward to your upcoming Disney posts!!
