Getting ready for DisneyWorld!

Things continue to be quiet around here.  The days have been warming up (except today!) and I've been working out in the yard a lot, mostly trimming and cleaning up.  Lots of sticks to pick up after the winter.  Things are just popping out all over!  Mississippi is especially pretty in the spring.

I took this yesterday.  The Bradford pear tree is all in bloom.  We only have one Bradford pear tree but when you see a bunch of them together, it's just beautiful!

I told you in an earlier post that I was going to try yoga.  I went to the first class and enjoyed it but I was very nauseated by the end of the class.  I asked the teacher if this was normal but she didn't think it was.  I got home and before I got into the house, I was throwing up.  That was strange but I went again the next week.  I was nauseated at the end of the class but no throwing up.  Again, how strange!  I was picking up sticks last week, doing a lot of bending over, and got very nauseated.  I guess it's the bending over that is causing the nausea.  I'm going to skip yoga and have started walking on my treadmill every day.  It's probably not as good for me but I don't like the nausea.  This is probably more info than you want to hear!

Doug and I went to the dermatologist last week.  Both of us have spots to be concerned about so we will be going back in a couple of weeks to have some procedures done.  Doug has some spots on his nose and temple and I have an irregular mole on my back which was a concern.  I would encourage all of you "of a certain age" to have a full body scan.  I couldn't even see the mole on my back and Doug had never noticed it.  Thankfully they aren't serious, at least not at this point, but you just can't be too careful!

This cute picture popped up on my Facebook page yesterday.

This was 7 years ago.  How cute those little boys were and still are!

We are leaving Sunday with them heading to Disney World.  Ben and Doug are going too.  The boys are so excited and we are too!  Doug left today heading to Bradenton to help D.W. race.  He will meet us in Orlando on Sunday.  We will be at the parks Monday through Thursday, returning home on Friday.  We haven't been to Disney in over 25 years...since the kids were young.  All you had to do then was buy a ticket and go in.  My how things have changed!  There's Magic Bands, Fast Passes to schedule, dining plans to work out, and photo plans to consider.  It's overwhelming!!  At any rate, we're going to do what we can and we'll just have to go back to do the rest.  It's spring break for the kids next week.  We are staying at the Caribbean Resort on the Disney property so if we get tired, we can always go back to our room and rest for a while!  Prayers for safe travels appreciated!

I'll post an update when we return!
