Saturday was Luke's 6th birthday party in Tuscumbia, AL. It was held at a party place full of blow ups and jumpy things...pure heaven, especially for little boys!
It was an Atlanta Braves baseball themed party and as always Kaydee attended to every detail.
The birthday boy had a ball!! It was hard to get him to stop long enough to get a picture!
Darby and Duncan had a ball too! What kid doesn't love the inflatables?
Luke's 90-something year old great grandmother came to the party too.. She is a brave soul!
Decorations and food were fabulous! I would expect nothing less!
Opening presents.
And a couple of crazy pictures!
It was fun seeing Luke have so much fun! He started kindergarten last week. Hoping he's loving it!
Emma Taylor starts school on Wednesday so we spent some time together yesterday having a girls day before school started. First she had a manicure with hologram nail polish. It looks iridescent. Not my style but she was very happy with it.
Her nails almost look fake but they are hers!
Then sushi for lunch, her choosing. Not for me!
Then to Walmart to get a few school supplies. We had a nice day together and those days are few and far between now.
I took Harrison to lunch today. He wanted to go to Sonic and eat in the car. There was nowhere else he wanted to go and nothing he wanted to do. So 40 minutes later he was home. The difference between those two!
I don't think I mentioned that Heather is teaching freshman English at Tupelo High School this year. It is her first year of teaching a regular class. Previously she worked as a reading assistant in an elementary school. She is excited to get started tomorrow. Unfortunately she tripped five weeks ago and thought she had a sprain but turns out she might have a broken bone. She's seeing the orthopedic doctor today.
Wishing and praying for the best school year for all the kids. Harrison will be attending a new school for him at Tupelo Middle School. Pray that he makes new friends and has a great year!
