We were invited for dinner at our friends Danny and Diane's house in Columbus so we headed down there mid-afternoon. Danny cooked a pork shoulder on the grill and we enjoyed the company of also his neighbors and Danny's sister. Danny sent us home with a big bag of tomatoes from his garden.
The drive home was a bit nerve wracking as it came a storm with lightening all around and an absolute downpour for much of the trip. Thankful that we made it home safely!

We celebrated Luke's 3rd birthday with a circus birthday party a little over a week ago. His birthday is actually August 2nd but with the birth of Darby set for July 15th, the party was a little early.
As always, Kaydee and Karen attended to every detail!
Follow the signs!
The cutest cake!
Candy of every kind to be eaten and then taken home by the guests.
The birthday boy is ready!
Let the party begin!
More pictures later...
Karen and I had a wonderful visit last Friday with my sister Carolyn, her husband Max and niece Kathy. We had a nice Mexican lunch at Rosie's Cantina, then delicious coconut pie at Carolyn's when we got back to her house. So good to see them!
Life has been busy...full of blessings though!
Seems like he grew up overnight!!
