Can you believe it's August already??
I took these two to the movie yesterday to see Hotel Transylvania 3. It really was a cute movie, even for me. Some children's movies are unbearable but this one was fun to watch. I sure do love the new reclining seating!
It won't be long until they think they are too old to see children's movies!
Then they requested Starbucks for an iced drink.
Cameron is back with me again today. I took him for a haircut and then he asked if he could spend the night. I guess he's going to enjoy one more day before they start back to school on Monday. Heather started back today. :(
Recapping our trip to Orange Beach from a couple of weeks ago...Day1.
Day one was mostly a travel day. We drove down and arrived around 1:00, had lunch at the Shrimp Basket, then went on to get checked into our condo. The condo was nice, nothing fancy, but two bedrooms and two baths. It was on the back bay. There was no beach but there was a boat dock if we wanted to dock our boat there IF we had one! We spent most of our time on the beach at Heather and Randy's condo.
After getting settled in the condo, we decided to have dinner at Gulf Shores Steamer. After having fried food for lunch, this sounds like a better option.
Cameron got the Red Royal shrimp and ate every one of them! This kid loves seafood of any kind.
After dinner, we took a stroll along the pier where the fishing boats come in every day with their fresh catch.
This one was actually going out for the night.
We bought some fish food.
And fed the many fish that swam up.
It was a beautiful night on the water.
Cameron thoroughly enjoyed himself and was looking forward to being on the beach the next day.
I just wish time would slow down!
