Orange Beach Day 4

Doug and Ben headed home early this morning but Cam and I spent another beautiful day on the beach with Heather's family.

By early afternoon, the boys and I had had enough of the sun and decided to go miniature golfing.  We invited the others but they preferred to stay on the beach.

It was a beautiful day so we headed off.  Just before we got to the miniature golf place, the bottom dropped out and it poured rain!  We decided to wait it out by having donuts at Krispy Kreme.

It was an excellent choice and the rain didn't last very long so off we went back to play miniature golf.

I played too and by the time we finished I was dripping in sweat.  It was so steamy after the rain!

We got back just in time to meet the rest of the family for dinner at Papa-Rocco's, the home of warm beer and lousy pizza.  Laura picked the restaurant, not me!

The boys wanted to stop in a souvenir shop, of course.

As soon as we got back to the condo, Emma Taylor wanted to go to the Dragon's Breath stand back in Gulf Shores.  Heather said she would watch the boys on the water slide and lazy river if I would take her...so off we went.

I had never heard of Dragon's Breath but I guess it's a "thing" now.  It comes with instructions on how to eat it.

$10 for this little cup!  Smoke comes out of your mouth and nose when you eat it.  It's made with liquid nitrogen and I have since heard of people dying after eating them, especially those with asthma.  My advice is don't waste your money!

I tasted one and it was yuck!  Tasted like a big fruit puff...not much to it.

Meanwhile the boys had a fun time in the lazy river and on the slide at Heather's condo.

Heather and Randy enjoyed it too.

A fun way to wrap up our last day at the beach trip.  Heather and her family spent a few more days there but Cameron and I traveled home on Thursday.

I took these pictures before we left.  This was our condo.  You can see how small it is compared to Heather's big high rise!

This was the view from the dock.

Cameron and I stopped again at Krispy Kreme as we left town.  The "HOT" sign was on this time.  Cameron had never had the hot donuts or seen how they were made.  Hot is best!

And that's a wrap!

Have a happy weekend!
