Baseball and Dance Recital!

What a fun and busy weekend!  There's nothing I'd rather do than spend time with my kids and grandkids and that's exactly what I did!

Cameron had four baseball games in New Albany on Saturday starting at 11:40.  We only went to the early game because it was 87 degrees outside and the next game was 3:00, then 6:00, then 8:00, too long in between to sit and wait.

Cam pitched the entire first game for an easy win and great pitching!

He got his first "pick off" at first base and he was smiling ear to eat!

He was a hitter too!

They ended up winning all four games, winning the tournament.  See that big old ring?  They each got one for being tournament winners.

We took Ben and Cam to lunch and headed home to get ready for Emma Taylor's dance recital at 6:00.

Heather took a couple of pictures at home before the recital.

They all did a great job!  She's the second one from the left.  My pictures didn't turn out that great!

Papa D did not attend.  We gave him a pass!

She got some beautiful flowers.

She had a special little part where she was the only one who did this "split."  I don't know how she does that!  I don't think I was every that flexible!

Harrison, Bowen and Sam attended with us but they left as soon as Emma Taylor's dance was over so no pictures of them.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day too.  More about that tomorrow.

I have already been to the dentist and have an appointment for a consultation with the eye doctor for cataract surgery.  Wish me luck!
