The latest!

Harrison and Cameron spent most of the weekend with us.  Cameron had a football game on Saturday morning.

Cameron's the one in the crazy green socks which make him easy to spot!

Saturday afternoon Emma Taylor came over to create her Halloween costume, a strawberry she saw on Pinterest.  She cut out all the seeds and hot glued them on.

Finished!

We also carved pumpkins on Saturday afternoon.

Works of art!

On Saturday evening we went to a Halloween/meet the puppies party at our neighbors' house down the street.  These bulldog puppies were adorable!  Cameron's such a dog lover!

Sunday was my birthday.  The boys went to church with us and this picture was taken just before church.  What a great way to start my birthday!

After lunch, we played a game of Monopoly.  We played teams and they beat Doug and I fair and square!  Doug and I were just glad to see the game end if you know what I  mean!!

We went to Heather and Randy's for dinner that evening.  Randy cooked delicious steaks on the grill for us.  Cameron and Ben came too.  Randy's birthday was on Saturday so we had much to celebrate!  He and Heather went to Memphis on Saturday to see Jersey Boys to celebrate his birthday.  They gave me a Kendra Scott necklace that I love and Ben sent me these flowers.

I brought Halloween treats for all the kids.

Our tradition on Halloween is for everybody to come here for lasagna, then trick-or-treating.  Heather and her two kids and one of Emma Taylor's friends were in a car accident on the way home from school which delayed them.  Fortunately they were not hurt at all, just a little shaken up!  The driver came over into Heather's lane and hit her car which sent her into a spin.  The driver just kept going!  Again, so thankful nobody was hurt!

They did get here to celebrate Halloween.

The Joker.  Ben does a great job on the makeup!

A baseball player.

A strawberry and pineapple.  Emma Taylor's friend Lexie made her costume too.

Ben and Heather took them around the neighborhood on the golf cart.  It was a beautiful, warm evening.  No coats needed!

Half the fun is checking out the candy after trick-or-treating!  Quite a haul!

Emma Taylor had her candy all separated!

Halloween was always one of my favorite "holidays."  I love seeing the kids and their costumes.  We didn't have nearly as many trick-or-treaters this year as in years past so I guess we'll be stuck with all the leftover candy!!
