Magnolia Table is not located at The Silos, though you can take a free shuttle from The Silos over to it. We drove and got there about 8:00 a.m. There was already a 40 minute wait which wasn't bad at all. Later in the day we were told there could be a 3 hour wait. Magnolia Table only serves breakfast and lunch, closing at 3:00 p.m.
While waiting, I got a lavender latte at the coffee stand there.
There's also a very small gift and pastry shop on the premises which helps occupy the waiting time.
They have done a beautiful job on the inside of the restaurant.
We ordered breakfast and I ordered the lemon lavender donut holes as an appetizer.
They were delicious!
I ordered the biscuits and strawberry butter as my meal. Little did I know I would be getting four huge biscuits!
They were good but very crumbly and hard to eat! Everyone else had a regular breakfast and said it was very good.
Maybe I'll try having lunch next time, but probably wouldn't wait 3 hours!
Here's one of my baseball grandsons!
Playing games twice a week keeps us all busy!
