Doug and I left on Sunday, November 4th, heading to Branson for the week. We drove across the beautiful northern part of Arkansas. The foliage was so colorful.
We met our friends Sonny and Linda for lunch along the way, then went back to their house in Salem for a short visit.
Doug fell in love with their Boxer, Max. He was a beautiful dog.
They have a pond behind the house with two ducks, Donald and Daffy.
This is the view across the street. Such a pretty barn. I think it could use a barn quilt though!
We stopped at the Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, AR. My cousin suggested a drive through to view the leaves.
The colors were amazing! What a pleasant place to be buried.
There were lots of people there taking pictures, probably for Christmas cards.
We looked for some Harrison headstones but didn't see any.
It was a beautiful drive through the cemetery and glad we made that small detour to see it!
We arrived in Branson that evening and stayed in a condo at Stonebridge.
It was a little ways out of town but still convenient.
Happy weekend!
