Lighthouse Tour in Door County

We started off the day with breakfast at one of our favorite places, White Gull Inn.

I had the cherry stuffed French toast.  Door County is famous for everything cherry.  The French toast did not disappoint!

After breakfast we headed over to the trolley station.  We had bought tickets the day before for the Lighthouse Tour.  Three lighthouses were on the tour and lunch was also included.

First stop was the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse located halfway between Fish Creek and Ephraim on Green Bay.

We toured the house but didn't go up into the light.

Next lighthouse was Range Lights in Baileys Harbor on the Lake Michigan side.  This one looked more like a church!  Actually there were two lighthouses that were part of the Range Lights.

Looking straight out the top window where the light is, you can see the other lighthouse.

Beautiful Lake Michigan.

We stopped for lunch at Gordon Lodge.

Our table was overlooking the water.  I had the salmon salad...yum!

Topped off with cherry pie and ice cream!!

We enjoyed beautiful views of the lake.

Our last lighthouse was Cana Island Lighthouse in Baileys Harbor also on the Lake Michigan side.

It was a beautiful day for touring the lighthouses.

We had dinner that evening at Julie's in Fish Creek.  I had the special honey baked chicken.

Another great day!!
