Weekend Stuff!

Friday was the Olympics at Cameron's school.  He was chosen to run the three-legged race.  He put on his Jordy tattoo that was given to us by Linda Pushee and he was confident he would win the race.

And he did!

He was very proud of his medal!

After school I took him to pick out a pumpkin.  Our rule is you can get any one that you can carry.

He picked out this whopper!

It weighed in at 19.4 pounds!

Saturday morning I had to get up bright and early for a football game at East Union, about 30 minutes from our house.  It was a 9:00 game and he had to be there by 8:30, so we were on the road by 8:00.

He's game ready!

The game was tied 14-14 at the end so it went into overtime which ended in a loss.  :(

We dashed home, changed clothes, Heather picked us up and we headed to Huntsville for a welcome home /baby shower for Claudia and John who just moved back to Alabama from Hawaii.  John is in the Army and will be stationed in Dothan, AL after being stationed in Hawaii for 3 years.  We are so happy to have them closer!

They have two sons, Camden and Corbin, and are expecting a daughter in January, Julianne.

We had a delicious barbecue lunch, then they opened presents.  Lots of pink!!
